We are promoting maintenance and improvement of our business processes through the quality management system (QMS). We evaluate system operating status and the resulting improvement in business processes using our own internal auditing methods that target not only quality-related sections but also every section relevant to production. We ensure safety and reliability as well as enhance the overall quality of our products by optimizing use of QMS in our daily activities. We have subsequently received international ISO 9001 certification.
Xacti implemented in-line inspection to avoid production of defective products.
All products are inspected after assembly process by our quality assurance department to ensure quality. During the in-line inspection process, double-check is implemented by the inspectors from the quality assurance department with the methods different from those of the production department. Checks are conducted after each process before proceeding to the next process.
In order to avoid production of defective products, 2-minute check is implemented twice a day to confirm non-defective parts during the manufacturing process in Xacti. All operators are trained to detect defective parts.
This quality activity enables effect as same as full inspection from 3,000 operators operators checking twice a day for quality of parts.
