Sep 22, 2025 JR Hokkaido announces enhanced safety measures: “Xacti LIVE” and smartphones enable rapid response

Xacti’s solution “Xacti LIVE” has been adopted as part of JR Hokkaido’s (Hokkaido Railway Company) enhanced safety measures for railway maintenance operations.

JR Hokkaido has announced its plan to adopt a system combining compact wearable cameras and smartphones by the end of 2025 to enhance safety management at railway maintenance sites.
By utilizing this system, which enables recording and sharing of operational conditions, it will be possible to quickly and easily assess the situation and investigate the cause in the event of any safety-related incident.
